Current public calculators run locally
The FIRE calculator, retirement stress test, and portfolio rebalancing calculator run in your browser. Their planning inputs are not submitted to an AussieFirePack account or database.
Browser storage
The calculators use local storage so your latest inputs remain available on the same browser and device. This data stays under that browser profile. Using Reset, clearing site data, or clearing browser storage removes it.
Market-data requests
Optional market-search, quote, and historical-analogue features may send a share symbol, coin identifier, currency pair, or date range through the site server to Financial Modeling Prep, Yahoo Finance, or CoinGecko. Those requests do not need your FIRE calculator balances or spending inputs.
Accounts, analytics, and cookies
The current site has no account system and does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The hosting provider may still process standard request information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, and timestamp for security and operations under its own policies.
